Abstract: Red Hat Enterprise Linux is widely deployed on-premise to run a variety of applications. While Red Hat supports customers who pursue a cloud-first strategy, more conservative customers may need guidance in taking their first steps toward the cloud. Red Hat Enterprise Linux has been said to be easy to configure and deploy on bare metal, in virtual machines, and equally in the most popular clouds. So those experienced in deploying Red Hat Enterprise Linux on-premise automatically have an advantage when moving workloads to the cloud.
In this breakout session, we'll highlight how Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with a focus on support for hybrid cloud and containers, can be the starting point for future, more autonomous, deployments on Red Hat OpenShift
