Session Descriptions
Company update on Ansible’s momentum and key areas of focus. Additionally, trends we’re seeing in the market and our views on how automation needs to impact business and its requirements to scale for success.
Ditesh will cover the journey of Grab into systems automation and how it benefited us in scaling from a small startup into serving millions of users in a short period of time.
Ansible is a Swiss army knife for DevOps, capable of handling many powerful automation tasks with the flexibility to adapt to many environments and workflows. Using real world examples, discover "the essentials" for all Ansible users.
Ansible doesn't do exactly what you want? Learn about the various extension points and plugin capabilities available in Ansible, and when you might want to use them.
Few questions induce fear and hatred into the heart of a Linux admin more than, "Hey, can you manage these Windows servers?" See how Ansible automates away ten Windows pain points simply and securely, with the same tools, language, and philosophy used for Linux hosts. Never log in to a Windows server again!
As you introduce Ansible into your organisation there are additional requirements to make running Ansible ‘Enterprise Grade’. This session is a live demo of some of key use cases for Ansible in the Enterprise. You will get to see Ansible Tower with a specific focus on Application Lifecycle Management.
