As one of Arizona’s largest utilities providers, Salt River Project (SRP) has delivered low-cost, reliable power and water to Arizona customers for over 100 years. During this webinar, Kevin Masaryk (RHCE) of Salt River Project will discuss how he uses Red Hat Network Satellite to manage their Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Utilizing the powerful capabilities of Red Hat Network Satellite, Kevin is now able to efficiently manage a complex Linux environment that spans across the mainframe to their x86 platform. Whether Red Hat Enterprise Linux is deployed on bare-metal or as virtual servers, Red Hat Network Satellite handles it all at SRP.
Kevin will show you how Salt River Project reduces both the administrative cost and complexity of managing their Linux environment with RHN Satellite. According to Kevin, “RHN Satellite is a key component to the management of all of our Red Hat servers, whether on the mainframe or in our distributed environments. Our use of Satellite has grown with us and we’re pleased with how much time it has saved us and how efficient it has made our administrators. I’d recommend setting up RHN Satellite as soon as possible for others who want to go down that road; it pays off very quickly.”
Red Hat Product Marketing Manager Chris Wells and System Z expert Brad Hinson will also be available during a Q&A session for your individual questions. Red Hat Satellite is a cost-effective, easy-to-use Enterprise Linux tool for keeping your systems up-to-date and manageable. Please join us for the informative webinar in order to learn more.
