Jim Whitehurst was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Red Hat in December 2007.
Before joining Red Hat, Whitehurst held various positions at Delta Airlines, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Operations, Sales and Customer Service, Network and Revenue Management, Marketing and Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining Delta, Whitehurst served as a Partner of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and held various leadership roles in their Chicago, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Atlanta offices.
Mr. Damien Wong, General Manager, RedHat ASEAN
Damien Wong is the General Manager for ASEAN at Red Hat. He is responsible for overall sales and business management for the ASEAN region, including short and long term sales objectives, channel relations, business office operations and staff training.
Prior to Red Hat, Damien was the General Manager, Southeast Asia, HP Software across the SEA region. He was also the Director for Service Portfolio Management in HP Software in Asia Pacific & Japan.
Damien’s extensive IT industry experience also includes technical and management positions for various organizations, such as Institute for Infocomm Research (Singapore), Firium Solutions, and Accenture.
Mr. Gordon Haff, Cloud Evangelist, RedHatInc.
Gordon Haff is senior cloud strategy marketing and evangelism manager at Red Hat.
Prior to Red Hat,Gordon wrote hundreds of research notes, was frequently quoted in publications like The New York Times on a wide range of IT topics, and advised clients on product and marketing strategies. Earlier in his career, he was responsible for bringing a wide range of computer systems, from minicomputers to large UNIX servers, to market while at Data General. Gordon has engineering degrees from MIT and Dartmouth and an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson School.
Mr. Richard Koh, Country Manager, Red Hat Singapore
Richard has been in the IT software industry for over 15 years at both technical and sales level. Currently, he is the country manager for Singapore at Red Hat. In his current role, he is responsible for the sales and business development activities in the country.
Prior to Red Hat, Richard held key technical and sales management roles in HP Software. He was responsible for building up and managing the technical and sales teams in the Southeast Asia region including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Pakistan.
Richard began his career at IBM in the global services team as a consultant with many years of enterprise project implementation experience covering both technical and management roles.
Mr. Sivaram Shunmugam, Lead Solutions Architect, Red Hat ASEAN
Sivaram Shunmugam is the Lead Solutions Architect for Red Hat in Southeast Asia. He specializes in Cloud, Virtualization and Linux infrastructure technologies. On a day-to-day basis he consults with end users, system integrators and independent software vendors on how best to effectively design and enable enterprise environments using various aspects of open source technology.
Siva has a vast 10 year experience in the IT industry. Both end users and partners alike consider him a Trusted Adviser for implementing open source technologies for their mission critical enterprise environments. His experience entails enabling customers to embrace open source technologies in environments ranging from x86 based servers to mainframes.

Francis Goh is the business unit executive for Power Systems in ASEAN, under IBM Systems & Technology Group, where he is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and for regional sales of Power Systems.
Francis Goh has been in the technology and financial services sectors for 15 years. Francis started his career in IBM in 1998 in services, helping clients to implement IBM solutions to solve business problems. Francis worked closely with clients in consulting and project management roles, helping clients with ERP and e-business solutions, as well as business process re-engineering to achieve positive business outcomes.
Francis moved to IBM Sales & Distribution in 2006, where he managed the Citigroup account, initially in Singapore, and then across Asia Pacific. In his role as Client Executive for Citigroup in Asia Pacific, Francis helped the client to adopt IBM solutions to achieve business outcomes, involving IBM hardware and software. He led the IBM team to successfully grow IBM’s business with Citigroup with several win-win partnership deals, despite the global financial crisis then. Francis led the IBM team in many successful initiatives with Citigroup Asia Pacific, most notably, the client's adoption of IBM Power technology in their large regional data centres in Singapore and Hong Kong, and also in Japan and Korea. Francis worked closely with the IBM team and the client to displace the strong incumbent competitors HP and Sun from the client's regional data centres with IBM Power.
Francis holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. Erik-Jan Van Der Wurff,Principal Consultant Data Center Transformation and Cloud, HP - Asia Pacific and Japan
Erik-Jan Van Der Wurff (Erik) is an HP principal consultant for Data Center Transformation and Cloud, leading the start of large initiatives and customer engagements in the Asia Pacific region. Besides supporting the APJ countries with solution building and training he frequently interacts with customers via CIO summits, forums and one-on-one workshops.
Before moving to Asia, Erik worked five years for HP in Europe, driving the delivery of large IT infrastructure projects. His more than 15 years of experience in the IT started with several roles in internal IT organizations.
Erik’s approach to current challenges in the IT is solution driven, with an extensive knowledge of the different aspects of the IT in multiple industry verticals.
Erik studied Physics at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Raymond Goh is the Senior Regional Director for Systems Engineering and Alliances in Asia South Region. He is responsible for strategic engagements with customers in the region on their security, storage and systems management requirements, solutions and strategies. He is also responsible for the strategic engagements and joint solution development with global and regional alliances partners in the region.
With over 20 years’ experience and knowledge in the IT industry, Raymond leads the Systems Engineering community in Asia South. He also leads the Solution Architects team and has been instrumental in driving strategic deals to provide customers with the best-in-breed solutions across Symantec’s comprehensive security and availability product portfolio.
Raymond started out as a Systems Engineer in Malaysia with CSA. He then joined Frontline Technologies in Singapore as a Technical Consultant, and was later promoted to Technical Consulting Manager and Director of IT Infrastructure Services. During his tenure at Frontline Technologies, he was directly involved in IT Infrastructure Consolidation and Migration projects with major organisations in the education, manufacturing, telecommunication, and transportation industries, focusing on server, storage and, systems management.
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary in Canada, majoring in Computer Science and a Minor in Applied Mathematics.

At the same time, he also acts as trusted Technical Advisor for customers in the Datacenter Consulting area. Bruce Lai graduated from the University of Melbourne in Australia with a degree in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science, in 1993. He returned to Hong Kong in 1994, and joined IBM in 1995 as a Sales Representative for General Business. His responsibilities included taking care of the various clients in Manufacturing & Distribution segment, as well as BFSI (Banking, Finance, Securities and Insurance). He also joined the IBM RS/6000 team in 2000, as Brand Sales Specialist taking care of General Business segment.
In 2001, Bruce was promoted to Territory Manager, taking care of Growth Team in General Business for Hong Kong and Macau.
