Reed Mullen, IBM Lead Product Planner for z/VM, IBM Reed Mullen joined IBM in 1981 as a Junior Programmer in the VM/SP Development organization located in Endicott, New York. He has held management, product planning, and strategy development positions in the IBM mainframe organization since. In 1999, Reed played a key role in developing the Linux-on- S/390 business plan that leverages the mainframe’s ability to host large-scale virtual server environments. Since then, Reed has provided his expertise in the areas of strategy, business Reed Mullen IBM development, and technical marketing support to help grow the Linux on System z business. He is currently the Virtualization Strategy Manager for IBM System z.

Shawn Wells leads Red Hat's global initiatives on the IBM System z platform, to include worldwide sales, services, and technical subject matter teams. As the Global System z Platform Manager, Shawn drives strategic relationships with global customers, business partners, and academia across all geographies. Shawn comes to Red Hat with a decade of experience in the Government sector, having held positions from helpdesk support staff to senior business unit leadership roles.
